Davis Wholesale Hosts Customer Appreciation Barbecue New Palmdale branch typifies company motto “We work hard, to make the job easy for you" |

Davis Wholesale, a leading provider of electrical and communication supplies in Southern California, celebrated the recent opening of its fourth store with a huge barbecue for its customers to acquaint them with the new 16,000 square foot facility.
More than 200 Davis customers spent the afternoon enjoying a delicious BBQ tri tip meal while checking out the newest store located at 610 W. Avenue O in Palmdale. “We were overwhelmed with the response from our customers today, everyone loves the new store,” said Howard Davis, president. Over 20 manufacturer representatives were present displaying their latest products. Prizes, provided by Lutron, were stacked on a nearby table and included a 42- inch plasma television. Displays included the latest lighting control products from Lutron, tools from Klein, Ideal and Greenlee and there was even a Maxis Polejack, complete with lighting pole attached, courtesy of U.S. Poles. The event featured 2 of the racecars from Wayne and Dave’s Automotive and a beautiful Chevrolet Bel Air from All Valley Electric. The grand prize plasma television went to Rick Brooks of Brooks Electric. Other winners included Joe Beebe, Brian Taylor, Randy Moakley, Don Lively, and Rick Craft. Overseeing the operation of the Palmdale location is Branch Manager Larry Hill. Hill was pleased with the opportunity to meet and greet so many of Davis’ customers. “The barbecue was a great chance to see so many of the people that drive Davis,” he said. “I’m glad that so many of our customers were able to come out and enjoy the afternoon.” Davis Wholesale Electric, Inc. was started in 1963 and offers the top name brands in construction, commercial, and industrial electrical and communications supplies. The Independent Electrical Contractors of Southern California (IEC) August Chapter Mixer was a huge success. Attendees mingled with other members and staff, learned about member services and benefits (such as Health Insurance), and heard about the new Apprenticeship and Training program. |
